The Fantastic
First, create a design for a fantastical scenario with general concepts. Then, come back to reality, having playfully pushed your imagination in the fantastic. You'll have concrete examples from the fantastic to apply to your real world challenge.
Better Feedback With Great + See
This is a way to create a better classroom and work experience through the often magical experience of "Great" and "See" feedback. "Great" is all about complimenting and providing many compliments, and it creates so many smiles. "See" is done not by critiquing but asking for certain things to see in the next version. All this is done through a model of thoughtful, positive, and constructive feedback.
Editor's Edge
The Editor's Edge comes from taking time away from one's own project to edit others. In this video, students (or groups of students) put their projects on the wall and went around the room to make comments on other student projects. At the end of class, they came back with the Editor's Edge, a mind that has seen other work and now better understands how to edit their own work.
